Selling Tips

First Impressions count

The first time a prospective buyer sees your property they will be looking at the outside, no matter how immaculate the inside is the buyer will always take note of the outside.

So make sure the outside to your property is always looking its best.

Readiness is key

Being ready for the phone call to show a prospective buyer through your property is key to any sale; this shows the buyer that you are serious about the sale of your property.

Make light of the subject

Light is a major factor in showing the true potential of your property, ensure that all areas are well lit. Open all blinds to ensure the best possible view of each room.

Pack away pets

Not all prospective buyers are pet lovers.  Consider relocating pet bowls and litter trays to the outside of the property and away from the buyer’s eye.  Some buyers can be turned away by something as little as a pet's food bowl in a kitchen. If you can secure your pets so they do not disturb the buyer while they are viewing your property.

Your home is your Castle not the buyers

Try to limit the amount of personal items around your home.  If needed de clutter and make your home more neutral.  A property light on clutter and personal items shows space and allows the buyer to picture their own items in the property. LESS IS MORE.

Fresh is best

Weather permitted, open windows and doors to allow the outside in.  A buyer will feel more comfortable if the property is light and airy.
